IX Augustus Von Kotzebue (dramatist, writer, Siberian exile). Covers in overall good condition for books 199 years old. Some loss of the leather to edges of the covers and top and bottom of the spines (see photos).
Titles on spine mostly worn away as are gilt bands. All covers still firmly attached and binding good, no loose pages. Books are clean and unmarked ie no inscriptions, annotations etc.
Some browning / foxing to endpapers and early pages. Frontispiece and title page also foxed / browned with age.
