We researched and studied and learned it was almost impossible to call any collection of Dr. His publishing had been so prolific through decades of writing, and even posthumously over the years there has been continued publications of new titles. Additionally, there are many books written by Dr. Seuss and illustrated by others, such as the many books by Theo.
LeSieg Theo[dore] Geisel Dr. Seuss real name spelled backwards.
There are titles based upon or inspired by and posthumously many special editions, collection, board books, baby books, picture dictionaries, coloring books, and many, many, others. This set is what I believe includes every one of the accepted standard "cannon" of his published works, except for titles which are out-of-print. I don't know every-thing about every-title ever-published under the Dr.
Seuss name, but if you are wondering about something which you think is missing, or wondering about a particular title, just get in touch. I'm happy to share with you what I know. The photos are representational only.
Occasionally the publisher is back-ordered during a reprint. I do my best to manage inventory, but with such a large collection it can be difficult. The 59 titles listed below are the exact 59 titles which will be included with your order.
Currently: Everything is in stock. AND: An adorable Cat-in-the-Hat tin LUNCH BOX to round out the collection of books and add some whimsy to the collection. These are all beautiful matching hardcover editions. There are no board books, or baby books. I have organized the titles into four basic categories. The Classics which are the large 8X11 best-known stories. These are the more elaborately illustrated titles, the bedtime stories which are generally intended for adults to read aloud to children.
Then there are the Beginner Books which are titles written for children to learn to read on their own (such as Hop on Pop, Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish, Two Fish) Those are 9X7, sized such that the child can hold the books in their hands. The Bright and Early Series includes titles written by Dr.
Seuss but illustrated by others. Many of these are generally, but not always, lesser known titles such as Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?
In A People House, A Great Day for Up! , and these are also sized 9X7.
Lastly there are a few of the more grown up titles (such as Oh, The Places Youll Go and Youre Only Old Once) plus posthumous publications, and other assorted collections. I have also included Who Was Dr.
